The Contax P-8 Power Pack is an external power supply that uses four 1.5V AA batteries or four 1.2V NiCd batteries.
The P-8 Power Pack is particularly well suited for cold weather photography since the pack may be slipped in a coat pocket or jacket to keep the batteries warm and maximize power output.
